Moment of inertia and angular momentum
Every linear quantity has a rotational partner: mass → moment of inertia I=∑mr2, force → torque T, momentum → angular momentum L=Iω. Newton's second law becomes T=Iα; kinetic energy is 21Iω2; power is Tω. With no external torque, angular momentum is conserved.
